Ever since I was a little girl, I was always surrounded by people cooking and the most delicious food. Growing up, my dad was a chef, my grandma was a baker, and a few uncles, aunts, and cousins were either chefs or just loved to cook. Every family party we went to was full of the most incredible food made by everyone who enjoyed cooking. I remember always being in the kitchen helping out and doing whatever they would let me do. When I was 7 years old, my mom and dad decided to move us across the country with my brother to open up my dads dream restaurant. I always saw how happy my dad was cooking but more importantly, how happy he made other people with his food. He would always let me make little snacks for all the staff and thats when my love for cooking began. Unfortunately, my dad passed away a few months later. I knew cooking was something that always made me happy so I began cooking, graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management, worked in a few restaurants, and became a private chef.
